Teams build cars that run and stop off a chemical reaction. These cars must be small, able to carry a load of 0-500 grams, and must be able to travel up to 100 meters.
Working with chemicals comes with inherent safety concerns. The job of the team is to mitigate any risks through design of the car, proper handling of chemicals, and always wearing proper protection gear.
No project can be finished without proper funding. That is why the team works hard to raise funds to cover costs of building the car and going to the competition.
